- Experiences of ordeals, breakdowns, crisis
- Feeling destabilised
- Experiences of personal madness or illness {physical, mental, emotional, spiritual or other}
- Having other types of issues in areas of life i.e. sleep, diet, relationships that are not able to be resolved
- Having physical issues that defy the laws of physics
- Having issues that resist any kind of treatment
- Enjoying solitude and finding it hard to fit in with others
- Sensitive, intuitive, compassionate, and empathic {violent movie scenes might linger in your mind, disturbed by the suffering of others, having the ability to experience the feelings of others}
- Having vivid or prophetic dreams
- Experiences of signs from spirit animals
- Feeling a calling to help ease the suffering of others
- Feeling a disconnection from material concerns, i.e. money, status, job
- Experiencing intense and unfamiliar emotions
- Having interest in the unknown, subjects like psychedelics, mysticism, magic, spirituality
- Experiencing Robert Anton Wilson’s ‘Chapel Perilous’
- “Chapel perilous” is also a term referring to a psychological state in which an individual is uncertain whether some course of events was affected by a supernatural force, or was a product of their own imagination. It was used by writer and philosopher Robert Anton Wilson in his 1977 book Cosmic Trigger. According to Wilson, being in this state leads the subject to become either paranoid or an agnostic;[5] in his opinion there is no third way.”
