Calm Your Nervous System During a Shock, Crisis or Panic Attack: 17 Spiritual & Practical Tools That Brought Me Some Peace in Crisis

After dealing with any physical emergencies here’s a short list of tools that me and Jim Kunkel channeled that have helped us in times of shock and crisis, I hope they help you too. Most of this I hope can also help you with things like depression:

  1. Ask and pray to the divine and the universe for anything, and honour them by sending your love and gratitude to them with intention
  2. Trust that God / the divine, and your whole being including your body, know how to heal everything, clear everything and make you whole, let go of everything that’s not needed {yours, your loved one’s and those you care about}, surrender and hand it all over to God and the sacred medicines, the universe, your guide team etc, send your love and gratitude to them.
  3. Close your eyes, put both hands on your heart, and set the intention to have sacred medicines then honour the spirit and energies of all the sacred medicines {magic mushrooms, LSD, ayahuasca, ibogaine, MDMA, DMT etc } by sending your love and gratitude to them with intention {these are metaphysical trips, i’m not advising physical trips}
  4. Mantra to keep repeating: I surrender to the divine
  5. Mantra to keep repeating: I surrender to consciousness
  6. Jumping on a trampoline daily or jump on a yoga mat, grass or sand, or wherever you are ideally with the right footwear to support your knees and whole body {This helps bring you back into your body and out of spiralling thoughts. It’s inherently grounding and helps with endorphin release, mood shift and releasing some of the trauma, tension and stress}
  7. Use a rattle to help release trauma, unnecessary tension and stress etc, and honour the spirit of the rattle by sending your love and gratitude to it
  8. Vocal toning {Let any sounds out of your mouth and don’t judge them, just let them flow to help release}
  9. Grounding {Bare feet on grass or sand, grounding wrist band etc}
  10. Using a drum {ideally a shamanic drum that you enjoy the sound of} move into oneness / deep stillness / void with intention, where there are no thoughts and your mind can rest, honour oneness by sending your love and gratitude to it with intention
  11. Close your eyes, put both hands on your heart, and set the intention to connect with your whole being {including your best most effective future self}, you can rest there, ask questions, ask for messages and guidance, and then send your love and gratitude to yourself with intention
  12. Mantra to keep repeating: I trust that my spirit knows what to do
  13. There’s always going to be things we don’t know, admit to yourself, to the universe and the divine that whatever is happening is beyond you {if that’s truly how it feels}, state that there is a solution, and that you’re open to solutions, then honour them with intention. So it sounds like: “This is beyond me, there is a solution to this, i’m asking for help with solutions and i’m open to solutions from the universe and the divine, I send my love and gratitude to you.”
  14. Listening to music
  15. Watching anything on TV, even better if you enjoy it and it’s funny
  16. Read a book
  17. Distraction can be a very useful tool in times of shock, fear, overwhelm and crisis etc
